The 2nd edition of the IPA webinar series; Codex and Probiotics - the case for harmonized guidelines.

The current FAO / WHO definition for probiotics is the accepted reference point for the probiotic community. This definition is well respected from the probiotic community, and the scientific and regulatory communities since its inception. Due to the technological and scientific advances within the probiotic industry, we are now at a crossroads and a broader scope is required to include these advancements into new guidelines. This webinar will explore the Codex process, the proposal for a new harmonized approach for probiotics and the perspective from the omega oil industries journey.
